PSYCHOSIS AND DELUSIONS
We study how narratives and perspective-taking shape stigma toward marginalized groups, with a focus on individuals experiencing psychotic disorders. Our work examines the neurocognitive mechanisms underlying storytelling, empathy, and prosocial behavior, including the role of brain networks involved in social understanding. This research complements our broader work on Theory of Mind, fiction, and social categorization, and contributes to understanding how narrative engagement can reduce social bias and stigma.
